Montmartre , a North Centre of PARIS
But because it is only 2 metro stops from Saint Lazare (main Transport node
in Paris) it is very easy and fast to go everywhere inside and outside PARIS
from there.
Many very central places in Paris are not as good from the transport point
of view.

the Les FUSAINS to Place de Clichy (Metro) you have a 5min sympathetic
(green) walk.
2) From Place de Clichy to St Lazare (Opera ..)

: 1 Metro (RER) Station : 5min (total 15min)
4) From St Lazare to Etoile (Champs Elysees ..)

If you prefer to go by bus (before or after ruche hours, or during the weekend)
there are 2 buses 1 min from home (80 and 95) and 10 buses going everywhere
in Paris, if you walk (5min) to Place de Clichy. The Bus Nr 80 is very comfortable
and new . From its grand windows you can visit (for 1 metro/bus ticket) 30%
of Paris : St Lazare , Chapms Elysées, The Seine river, Invalides
