Welsh Ponies
The "ponies" part of the farm just began by luck when, in 1981, we received a unusual gift. This was a young orphan filly, Agathe. For sure, she wasn't a Welsh Mountain but she had some similar caracteristics of. It is thanks of her that we are breeding this breed today.
Agathe has been our partner when we started. In breeding, harnessing and competitions, she was there. From now, she still alive and just taking good time.
So, our breeding was composed by more black ponies than other color. In 1990 we bought our first Welsh Mountain purbreed mare, Alderdale Midnight. Moreover, she's our first "Boogie" foal's mare. This foal is now, our stallion, Boogie Jim.
Today we have almost fifteen ponies. They are black Welsh Mountain Ponies.
We could proudly said that we still doing competition after more than 20 years and that our breeding always grow up since we have started.
