Blonde d'Aquitaine Cattle
The "cattle" part of the farm officialy began in 1986 when we bought a cross heifer Blonde d'Aquitaine. But we always had some head during the years before.
A little time after we bought our first heifer we had bought a fullblood embryo. BOM Yvonne born some months later. Today, our breeding is composed by almost only fullblood cattle.
We
did a lot to improuve and to make better our breeding. We often bought some
semen in the hope that we could give better caracteristics to our cattle.
We know now that our bulls are better thanks their genetical qualities. Moreover, we are oversee by the "P.A.T.B.Q." since the creation of the program. Each year we also send some bulls in bull test station.
More than that, we participate at the "National Bovins" and sometimes at other fair. We could look if our cattle is competitive or not.
