Shining Star Kennel is a small kennel located in the Laurentide region of Mirabel, Québec. We just acquired a beautiful terrain with plenty of space for the family and the dogs. It is ideal for us to practice all of the winter activities and for fun with our siberian huskies.

In June of 2005, we acquired our first siberian husky from Kimlans Kennel and from that time our passion for the breed has grown. We completed the Canadian Championship with Mystic within a couple months in conformation......then we added to the pack, and the passion keeps growing!

In winter of 2007, we attended a seminar for dog sledding and after trying that sport, we loved it soo much we bought a sled. We are inspired to give all of our dogs the title of Working Dogs in participating in the pure dog racing sport, including training them weekly.

All of our dogs are members of the CKC and we have some that are also members of the AKC as well. Our goal is to try and maintain the high level of quality in the breed. We work a lot on the temperament, the standard of the breed, and hereditary diseases. All of our females and males are x-rayed for the hips and tested for the eyes (OFA and CERF). All of our pedigrees are from champion lines from around the world ( conformation and Working Dog).

All of our puppies are sold with a health guarantee, vaccinated, dewormed, tattooed or microchiped and they are all registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.
